The past few days I've been doing a test on the live stream question videos by making them longer with more questions but no funny pictures to see what you guys preferred. I've decided to keep the same format as before, shorter videos with funny pictures instead of longer ones without the pictures, since I don't have time to do both. So all videos will once again have the pictures, thanks for the input and support!

Ethonal does raise the octane if anything it lowers it. Lead in gas was for lubrication at the vaive seats now the have hardened seats. You don't get a good quality gas with Ethonal because it has a percentage of water in it. That's why it causes corrosion

Back in the 90's I worked for a store chain and i repaired the fuel pumps and tanks. We use to calibrate the pumps and you had to be .05%+/- on a 5 gallon test can. If it was over or under when the state would test the pumps they'd shut them down if we were off more than that and they issued fines. That's why you see those stickers on the pumps.

I really wish that these additives for car fluids were required to list the additives or at least the primary active ingredient... I mean if you get really diligent you can find the MSDS on the item in question and even then you just get a general idea.

I haul gasoline and live in New Jersey, the main reason for full service in New Jersey is supposedly to help with unemployment there are tens and thousands of attendance that work full and part-time and believe it or not at some of the major chain convenience store gas stations the wage is 40% more than minimum wage. I know my wife and most of her girlfriends enjoy the fact that they don't have to get out of the car in all kinds of weather and pump gas only to wind up smelling like gasoline when they get to their job. great video as always

Motorcycle riders can tell if the pump is off in many cases when it seems to hold more gas than normal. I once put 5.3 gallons in my bike when once when it run out it only held 4.7 max. This time I wasn't empty. The time I ran out coming back from work I forgot to fill up before I left, but hit the light just right and costed to the pump.

The biggest problem we have here is people stealing people's credit/debit card information by adding the card readers to the pumps. One station in my area had guys out trying to pump people's gas for a price and I avoid that station with a passion and usually get my gas from the Murphy gas stations at Wal-Marts and have not had any problems with that any longer.

Also - look out for price jumps before midnight, where they raise the pump price before they even put up the price on the sign.

Then NEVER support these corrupt stations again. Better yet, call their parent company and help them lose the franchise. Brands hate bad press.

So I switched to Shell which is a Top Tier gasoline and never had another fuel injection problem.

It's rated at 88 Octane and is about 10 cents cheaper than 87 octane. Big warning about not using it anything but 2001 and newer passenger vehicles. I find it actually improves economy on my Silverado, and the truck really does seem to run better. Unfortunately, I'm not always in that area, and to because of the dangers of too much ethonol, I try to run regular 10% too. I read an article about someone that took a flexfuel car on a cross country trip and it didn't make it because all they used was E85, and the ethonol content got too high and broke stuff. In my state, pumps have to certified by the weights and measures systems. Make sure any station has the most current sticker on it.

Original mileage first engine 142,000. Miles on engine from wreck 62,000. Current mileage on car 198,000, so 106,000 miles on current engine. My mechanic tells me the Mondeo is only good for 200,000 miles. What’s your view Scotty. It runs great at the moment.

It looked really cool. Well, apparently the tanks were just as old because I was catching all kinds of twigs and stuff in the gas filter for months on Thankfully it was just a junk car I bought just for that assignment.
