When you comment with your list, please exclude “We Will Rock You” because it uses stomps and claps not drums. It also need to START with drums. There are many songs that people are listing that actually start with other instruments or the whole band like “Come Together” Have at it!

@choi dh Certainly ... the intro drumming from Cozy Powell on the stargazer song is very distinctive and might be difficult for Rick Beato and his friends to imitate. (just kidding Rick ...) 😁😁😁👍

A lot of these 'intros' just sounded like normal beats. You didn't even mention 80s band Iron Maiden who have some real good intros. Hallowed be thy name is one. Avenged Sevenfold also has good intros. The Wicked End, Blinded in chains, Nightmare. Not hard to play either.

It is the perfect example of a great all time iconic intro. Any drum part that sounds like a motorcycle engine running ..... please, easily all time no 1. Let's just address the elephant in the room. The intro to smells like teen spirit by Nirvana was more iconic and recognizable than most if not all on your list. Hell, the reason why you didn't put it on your all time top 20 list is because of how iconic and recognizable it is.
