Don’t forget Fright Night and Fright Night Part II! Those movies never get the love they deserve. Especially the sequel. It’s one of the more solid horror sequels I’ve ever seen. Plus, who doesn’t love Roddy McDowall?

And The Changeling one of my all time favorite films not to be mistaken for the Angelina Jolie film that came out later.

Out of all the movies on this list, I'd have to say the Changeling is the best. It reminds me of spooky movies that rely more on the actors and the environment, rather than repetitive jump-scares and Hokie special effects. Some other examples are The Shining, The Amityville Horror, and Rosemary's Baby.

From what I remember Sean Cunningham who did Friday the 13th, had a similar film to Shocker; it was called The Horror Show. I preferred the Wes Craven movie.
