They taste equally if not better if marinated rightly. So sad how a narrative gets pushed all for the profit/out of ignorance.]

Oh my god... you know nothing about animal welfare??? What do you think it produces more in a farm "factory " (as you call it) wealthy chicken with space enough to run around or stuffed chicken as you show in the video??
You don't consider things like chick sizes... and i don't know wich country you took as example for whole Europe but you OFFENDED most of farmers whom are taking care of their animals with this video
In Italy animal welfare it's far far far far away from what you show here... even baby chicks are pre sexed before insemination... and as in Italy it proves to be money worth.... it is in the rest of the world
Don't take idiots who stuff chicken in a container and tell all farmers do luke that... and by the way most of things you told excluding the whole livestock consumption it's bullshit. ... baby cow are separated by the mother to increase their own survival chances.... and most of times only for few days.... waiting their immune system to reach maturity ...
And how dare you show to ppl that image of farmers switching labels from normal meat to bio.... most people don't do fraudulent acts as you show in this video... maybe you guys do it but ppl who do this they go to gale...5:35 5:35 !!!!!!
I am breaking my back pulling away the grass in all my fields by hand to produce bio without using any ANY pesticides or chemicals and this is what you show???

"clean meat" = stem cells fed on unborn baby calf blood from slaughtered, heavily pregnant mothers just to harvest their blood. 1000 near term babies die for 1 "clean meat" burger patty. Hardly clean is it! PR scam to make a few patties for investment dollars, stop promoting the scam! No different to promoting Nigerian Princes (except that innocent babies are killed for this scam)

if you think logically this is like that because meat in the past was the easist way to get food, it´s a very very old tradition.

I worked in a restaurant as a waiter and it disgusts how people will already buy meat at super high prices and they end up throwing 60% and they leave everything there is very sad and not only because of what Animals pass by but because there are people who barely even have to eat, and of course all that later goes to the trash .. it is very sad but thanks for your work, to subtil in so many languages

@Moha Jordan every noticed how apples are always uniform in colour? That' not natural, colour is dependent on sunlight, if part of an apple is shaded by branches, it will be part red, part yellow & consequently, it will fail "cosmetic standards" & be disposed of, not even sent to sale! Up to 70% of apples in some areas fail cosmetic standards & are disposed of uneaten.
Ever noticed how oranges are always the same size? They don't grow that way, they are graded & if too small or too big, they are disposed of not sent to sale.
Ever noticed how bananas always have the same amount of bend? if they are too straight, or too bent, they are disposed of not sent to sale
Ever noticed how store bought beans never have any brown patches on them, despite this being common for home grown ones? Yup, you guessed it, if they get this cosmetic error, they are disposed of, not sent to sale
Ever noticed how parsnips always have the same taper? again, disposed of it not
Never a carrot with 2 lengths on 1 head, or change in direction part way down? yup, disposed of.
HUGE amounts of food in this world are disposed of uneaten for stupid reasons

@Moha Jordan that wasn't what I asked was it! The official food waste stats from the UN show that 45% of fruit, veg, roots & tubers are disposed of uneaten, while only 20% of meat & dairy products are. That's a lifetime waste number, taking into account not just food on a restaurant plate, but the food disposed of from the kitchen before serving, disposed of at the farm because colour/shape isn't right for sale & disposed of on plates & fridges in all sources, with homes clearly being the biggest waste location for each individual. 25 mice alone are directly poisoned just in field for each kilo of plant based food produced, each of those mice if female has an average 5-10 dependent babies that also die for every mouse deliberately poisoned, so that's nearly 100 mice killed per kilo of plant based food, before we even start on numbers starved to death after harvest, number killed in post harvest food protection etc etc & all those mice & all the other animals slaughtered in their hundreds of millions, all die in vain each time you throw away the outer lettuce leaves because they're not quite right for the dish being served, or have a snail bite mark on them

@MrIndecisive if they want to use efficient growing crops as their food, that's fine, but western vegans don't & that's the problem. Rice can feed about 100 people per hectare, so it's fine, but vegans tend to instead eat foods like amaranth, chia & lettuce & various leafy greens that need just as much water as rice, but require FAR more fertiliser & pesticides, which is hugely damaging to the environment, especially when they reject manure as a fertiliser source & insist on chemical fertilisers instead because of their "vegan" beliefs. The various leafy greens & other low calorie fresh veggies they eat will generally feed 1-2 people per hectare & require some of the world's highest quality irrigated land to be produced, so hugely disproportional land use profile per western vegan. (plus an average of 45% of these foods are disposed of uneaten v only 20% for meat & dairy)

Amaranth is generally grown as cattle feed, it produces an average 40 tonnes of leaves per hectare every month when used this way, but only 1.3 tonnes of grain every 6 months when grown as human food instead, so that means it can feed 3 people (vegans) on grain, or produce enough beef to feed 60 people over the same time period when grown as cattle feed instead.

There is currently 1.1 billion hectares of cropland in the world, feeding 7.7 billion people, that means each hectare of cropland is currently feeding 7 people, as well as all their livestock's crops, all their bio-fuel & vegetable oil needs & all fibre production, so if vegans want to eat foods that will feed only 3 people or less per hectare, without even starting to get into fibres or oils, that means we need more than double the cropland we currently have to meet just their food needs. That's a LOT of deforestation that's needed to feed them!!!!!!!! Livestock on the other hand are generally raised on the 2.6 billion hectares of grasslands that have been converted to rangeland. That land is too dry to grow crops & equally too dry to grow forests, so there is no forest loss for livestock production there, grasslands actually thrive with large grazers tending them, if well managed (no overstocking, frequent paddock rotations).

Vegans like to talk about livestock eating crops like soybeans that are grown on cropland, but the reality is that 98% of soybeans are grown as "oil seed crops" to become vegetable oil for human consumption. 18% of the soybeans are oil, which means 82% is waste & that waste is fed to livestock, but whole soybeans aren't. Same applies with almonds, 70% of the world's almond crops are fed to livestock, that's because 70% of the yield is the shells & only 30% is the nuts that humans want to eat, the cows get the shells. There's enough "oil seed cakes" (waste) produced every year to feed 100 billion chickens from birth to slaughter weight (300 billion kgs of it). Vegans consistently fail to explain what they intend to do with that waste if it's not fed to chickens & pigs. Prior to the technology to make it edible to livestock being developed, it used to be burnt to stop mouse & rat plagues, but that's extremely bad for the environment & the health of the workers burning it (used to be slaves with mostly cotton seed, so no-one cared)

Nothing wrong with eating less meat than we tend to in a western diet, even better is to reduce vegetable oil use, but 100% vegan, using western vegan preferred foods that have low yields per hectare, high rotting rates for high wastage & generally environmental & seasonal specific criteria that results in massive amounts of shipping around the world of said products is a really bad option. Much better to stick with a more balanced diet & focus on reducing waste.

Lots more reasons too, but that's just a few reasons that I think are pretty clear, erosion is also currently at 10 tonnes of carbon rich soil per person per year & is generally reversed & new soil built in well managed livestock farming, while it's just increasing in crop production due to the nature of the plants we choose to eat, with them being predominately annuals, needing bare soil for their growth, while pasture maintains cover for the ground year round. Eating perennial crops is another good option too (but not crops like almonds that take 5 years of year round irrigation at the same level as rice needs, to start producing nuts. In a drought, cows can be moved, but almond trees can't be!)

Ok, we over-eat meat, that's true, but our bodies require large portions of protein to be really healthy. Veggie protein is not as good as meat protein: it causes hormonal imbalances, protein-packed veggie food is also packed with fat and one needs to eat too much vegetables to get all protein required. In the end of the day, humans are predators, nature is geared like that, so the only way out is to synthesise meat in laboratory and make it a viable market option.

Same as octopus have brains in each limb, plants have brains in each root tip, just behind the tip (is easily seen using time lapse photography & comparison of plants where the brain node has been removed v regular plants). Multiple networked brains is a much better system for defence, size capacity & speed of signalling, hence why we use networks for our computers instead of a few large computer "brains". Plant brain structures are superior to human ones, theyv'e had longer to evolve than us & so have achieved much more efficient tech than we have in our bodies
