    You guys need a laser engraver so you can "print" on the patterns. Nice work though! 👍

      It's... kind of actually painful watching how much work they put into the blade and the teeth, knowing what's coming up in the near-ish future with the heat treat ;w;

            Do you think he could have silver soldered it on instead of super-gluing it? I feel that would be a way more stable and permanent solution if that's what he was going to use it for.

              7/32 of an inch? I live in the States, and I hate this system. 5.55625mm, despite being no less ungainly, is easier to visualize.

                I know I'm really late to the show here. Been crazy busy and just now catching up. I love that shot where you open the grinding room door and you're on the other side. Great editing!

                        For the grinding sections you have to do with paper and adhesives I’m wondering how well it’d go to have something sub zero and not technically a liquid in the shop. Imagine some dry ice you can hover the piece down in to cool it off if water isn’t an option. Of course you’d have to use some rather bulky gloves (or just one maybe) to handle the source of the cold and you could lose some dexterity from that but idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybe it’s worth experimenting on

                            to stop paper from fraying just use a razor (or other nice tool) to cut at the lines. no fraying unless u remove too much metal. and a metal sliver shows if u cut too little.

                                          ? are the teeth too skinny? I have seen a 'sword breaker' and the teeth seemed thicker......u have a lot of pressure/stress on the teeth when u 'angle' the blade to capture it.

                                              You need to get a laser etching machine( whatever it’s called) was hen you can “ draw” the designs directly onto the steel and won’t have the problem of paper failure!

I think they call it "aikuchi".

                                                                  Also it'd be really cool to try tiling some damascus on either side of a mild steel spine, then sticking some high-carbon steel on the side that's going to hold the sharp edge, then after it's forged allowing the extra contraction of the mild core (compared to the edge) to give it a natural curve (a bit like what unintentionally happened with Alex's rapier).

                                                                  Finally, it'd be interesting to see something musical, like a bell or a gong, made here, though I'll be happy to see more crazy blades made too.

I have very limited resources, and I was hoping I could see how you made it if you have time so I can make it my self

My mill came with one to cool the work pieces, plus they are mindboggling taking compressed air and turning it into a stream of hot and cold air with no power.
