Ahhhhh, Alexander the Highly Overrated. The number of times I was screaming at the TV to bench that diva and put Moore in are beyond count (third and short situations come to mind). Those were the days.

Please do the Jets beating the NFC East-leading Giants in the final game of the 1988 regular season, helping to knock them out of playoff contention. Include the Jets go-ahead touchdown in the final minute (the Jets victory handed the Eagles the NFC East title after Philadelphia had trailed in the division almost the entire season), and the final seconds of the 49ers' blowout loss to the Rams in the "Lay Down Like Dogs" game, (after the Giants lost the division, they needed the 49ers to win their finale to get the wild card) officially eliminating the Giants from contention.

I like these videos, but after all the setup, talking, talking, talking...you really need to show the play in question more than once.

As a Lions fan I’ve seen stuff like this from our local idiots many times over. It’s painful to watch. But BUT I do understand it. Can you imagine the unreal pressure while you’re waiting for that snap against a hungry Seattle defense? Romo probably threw up in his mouth before the snap.

The next game after this, which was Seahawks vs Bears in the divisional round and was won with a 50-yd Robbie Gould field goal in overtime, also deserves a deep rewind. The Bears had a history of losing home playoff games, and if they had done it again as the #1 seed, versus an undermanned and injured Seahawks team, it probably would've meant Lovie Smith got fired. Instead, Gould saved his ass, only after Lance Briggs had done the same with a huge stop on 4th and 1 that kept the Seahawks from winning the game in regulation, the Bears eventually made the Super Bowl, Devin Hester had that legendary kick return to start the game, etc and Lovie Smith got a multimillion dollar new contract -he should've kicked up about $2 million of his new contract to Robbie Gould.
