In Denmark we have a law that let's a business cancel your order if the price is clearly wrong. Sadly some businesses abuse this to rank number one on price indexing websites like Pricerunner.

lol linus bullshitting so hard with the Amazon error. Its totaly legit to order such items, sure its "moraly wrong" but most things in this world is, why should one loose out on such things in this competitive moraly fucked up world? if you dont do it, someone else will. Legality is all its about. Most larger companies are litteral scum "moraly/ethicaly" , but they can be like that due to legality. Its wrong sure, but its still legal.

facebook investors are just happy they did not investigate more into the privacy offences, and how what app works. But they could buy them off for only 5 bill as predicted.
5 billion should not be a fine given in my eyes, that so much money. If he so guilty he has to buy silence for that amount. Then do your job as justice system and lock the criminal up and shut his information laundering down.

Swiss law: if the price is obviously a mistake, the seller can cancel the order. If the error is in a "plausible" range, the seller is obliged to honor the sell. I think it is fair, prevents bad seller tricks and forces the seller to be "professional" but protects him from "real major" mistake.

Here's a project. Not sure if it's an "Accidental Discount" but $90 for a full gaming system from China? And free shipping? Seems sketchy to me, but the guy has a 100% rating, and for a less-than $100 investment, it would be interesting to see if it is legit.

About that pricing dilemma - well i've been on both sides as a retailer and as a client and for me it stands like this. For the client side it's cool and it's not bad to take advantage of the situation as long as you actually need/want/use the item. I wouldn't have problem with people buying $5000 camera with 99% discount if they really gonna use it. Let them enjoy it and be happy. For once the luck was on their side. I would however have a problem with the dirtbags who only took advantage of the situation to make profit. You know those bastards who bought 10 pieces of each item just so they can sell them at full price and make a quick buck. This is an entirely new level of assholery.
On thr retailer side - i'd honor those orders BUT will only send 1 item per client. All the guys who ordered 5-10-25 pieces of the stuff will get only 1 with an e-mail that "due to the unusually high demand this is the last item and we can send only 1. Please confirm if you still want us to fulfill the order with that condition" and he will be charged the said wrong price for 1 item.
I'd gladly buy $10 Ryzen 3700X or $10 RT 5700X, cos i'll use em for at least 3-4 years. I'd never buy a stuff i don't need just for the sake of the good deal or to make profit by re-selling it. Karma is a bitch you know and someday it will turn back at you for making fast money on someone else's mistake.

I had a similar issue with insurance claims but it was some elses fail. Submitting authorization claims was not in our contract but the facility's financial department refused to do it and would not learn how to do it after I offered to give them a free in-service on it. The financial staffer sent me the wrong information and it resulted in $5000 worth of treatment that was unauthorized. Only a fraction was able to get backward insured. I almost got held personally responsible for the loss because "I should of known" that the information I am not responsible for, and have no access to for verification, was wrong. Our regional head had to come in and go through the contract with the CEO to save my hide. I had to fear for my position and $5000 out of pocket and the financial staffer didn't even get scolded. Errors as a contract employee can be a serious issue, even when they aren't your own. It's not like our staff was going to forgo getting paid to make up for the treatment cost.

25% of a salary is more than 25% of net profit!
(salary-living expenses)/4 would be the fair comparison.

I turned it into the RCMP (Police) and 90 days later I got the $100... and that was what funded my first bank account =) Not sure what they would do with $5,000,000

All of these were pretty much the same generation of games but upgraded handheld consoles. The only part of this that could argue a new console generation is the 3DS because of the huge change with 3D graphics without the 3D anaglyph, but otherwise, they're almost the same.
