Scotty Kilmer I own a 5th generation Camaro v6 and Changed the rear wheels to size 55 instead of 50 and the front to size 45 instead of 50. Would that do any damage to the Vehicle's transmission or anything?

Scotty I have a 2005 Ford Focus with "lifetime" air filter and about 112,000 miles. It runs and drives great. Should I even think about replacing the air filter? Or just assume it is doing its job. Thanks for your time!

just a little tip ...... when I have to check my car's alternator working or not, I just stick a multimeter to the terminals of the battery ...... mostly the battery voltage is ~12-12.5V (yes, its a bit old) ...... and the moment I give it a start, the voltage automatically starts creeping towards 13V or higher ...... this means the alternator is good .....
(edited) you can just but a voltage measurement in a car cigarette style......... it gives the voltage instantly u plug it in .... no need of multimeters/rocket science .... simple $2 solution .....

Would it be ok to connect to a 2000 + car that has a weak battery with jumper cables . And the car with the good battery started up and give " juice " to the other car for a few minutes , though it wouldn't have it's engine running . Then shut off the car with the good battery and just have the key turned to light up accessories . Then to try to start the car with the weak battery ?

Hey Scotty, You forgot one important safety warning about jumper cables. Before hooking up both positive and negative cables to the good car, make sure the clamps are not touching on the other end! Else you will short-circuit your battery and possible explosion! That's why all jumper cable instructions say to hook up positive on both ends first, then negatives. This make short-circuit impossible. I know most people don't read instructions! Thanks for the entertaining videos!

Checking the alternativ is simple - just see if the voltage on the battery rises to about 14V and drops when motor turned off.

With the price of gas being so high, my habit to roll my total up to a certain kind of number isn't a problem because the maximum extra nine cents worth of gas is barely a sip. I don't ever try and cram say $20 in there. Just roll the digits a certain way that lets me notice if my visa charge gets tampered with later.

They're always trying to push or sell these additives for your engine. One doesn't even know if they put the proper grade oil. You don't see the cans anymore.

You actually need to connect your jumper cables to the car that won't start first, not the way you said for the very reason you pointed out. There is much less chance of a spark under the hood of the dead car if you connect to the dead battery first. If you do happen to end up with a spark it will be when you connect the cables under the hood of the car that is less likely to have trapped hydrogen gas under the hood that was released by a discharging battery.

Although I agree that you should not over-inflate your tires, something even worse is under-inflated tires. This is especially true of heavy vehicles in hot weather. Under-inflated tires are far more likely to lead to a sudden tire failure, because they rapidly build up excessive heat. Bottom line check tire pressures regularly. A lot of tire stores will check your pressures and adjust them for free.
