So many people talking about DHMO, but nobody is talking about the dangers of Hydrogen Hydroxide.

Whatever you do, do not drink Ethyl Hydroxide (C2H5OH), it is even deadlier than DiHydrogen Monoxide (H2O)!!! :-O
BTW, Ethyl Hydroxide is the chemical name for Alcohol. :-P

My university chemistry teacher was wondering why his beaker full of Alcohol would always deplete overnight. So, he relabeled the beaker as Ethyl Hydroxide and "low and behold" the depletion stopped.

I had the thought that maybe we should make them afraid of dihydgrogen monoxide and thereby convince them to actually act on climate change since human extinction doesn't seem to be a good enough motivator. We could tell him that tons of dihydrogen monoxide will become liquified and flow into our oceans if we don't keep the Earth below 2 C of warming.

                                              You meant, π * radius² * height which would work out to be = Pi * z * z * a

This is what happens when we live in a world were most people (myself often included) have no idea what scientists are really talking about.
