just a question...why does the entire basketball media analytical world always say: on the "defensive end" or "offensive end" and not just say on "defense" or "offense" ?!?!

I kept saying that him and Greg Monroe should be high usage 6th man type players like Crawford has been for his career.

He always had a highly developed post game but never really played hard given his talents. Talent without hard work is a waste. He can be such a weapon in todays soft league.

Markelle Fultz and Jahlil Okafor should team up on the Magic. Two rejects for a relatively irrelevant franchise who somehow find a way to upset the Sixers in the playoffs.

In the 90s Okafor would be a highly sought after player its just the game has changed so much. I still think a post player can thrive in the NBA. Embiid is proving it. He can hit the 3 but his main atrength is scoring in the post.

                              Greg Smith  7 months back

I really thought he would be a great fit off the bench for the Sixers and occasionally run him and Embiid as a twin tower frontcourt. Duncan and Robinson worked so did Olajuwon and Sampson. More recently Z-Bo and Gasol were playing together. Z-Bo is very similar to Okafor as far as being a post player with limited range. Okafor can knock down the 17ft jumper with consistency. His post scoring is perfect for a bench role because teams can dump the ball in and count on him to score.

As a Sixers fan I saw a lot of Okafor. He is a dominant post player and he looks to be in better shape. He is a 20 ppg scorer if giving the minutes

As a Sixers fan, we did this man really dirty. He had a good rookie year and proved he was an elite player on the offensive end of the floor. He did not defend and rebound well at all, he was actually a liability in those aspects. Now that he is in much better shape, and trust me you can tell that he is, he should be able to defend and rebound better by default. He also needs work on his passing, he is like a black hole once the ball goes down there. Pretty much, Jahlil does a lot of good things but he needs to work on a ton of things. You also need to play him big minutes so he can work his way into the game. Ill say this, he is a great teammate and he does not complain, there is not a selfish bone in his body. Its funny to me that the Sixers are desperate for a backup center and we gave up Jah for nothing.

Doesn't protect the rim, doesn't know positioning, and can't slide his feet. He allows way more than he gets, thus his horrid +-.
